• is it just me in thinking that the us should have a stronger Atlantic fleet? in pre-WWII, the atlantic fleet had 3-4 AC, 9 BB, and numerous CA, CL, and DDs. it just seems so under powered. but it was probably reduced to its pathetic size due to balance issues

  • Good Luck with that; too many people are complaining that the US has too much money(52 ipcs) to build a giant fleet.

It’s a board game, not a history lesson.

  • the reason it has so much money is so it can effectively fight a two front war. it was given that much with the thought that the us player wouldn’t focus only on one theater. it was thought that if it concentrated only on one theater then the other would fall, leaving the allies in a tight spot. in other games it cant fight  two front war at all. it could barely fight a one front war. all im saying is add a cruiser and another destroyer, that’s not too much. it lets them look a bit better on the Atlantic side with only 8 pieces on the board.
