• Can tanks blitz from Alberta Saskatchewan/Manitoba through CUS to WUS?

  • Official Q&A

    No.  You can’t blitz through a territory with an industrial complex in it.

  • Can axis tanks blitz through pro-axis territory?

    Can axis tanks blitz through pro-axis territory?

    “blitzing” occurs only during the combat move phase, so no, as you must move into a pro-axis neutral during noncombat.  Nor can you move into the pro-axis neutral, convert it, and move on (such as a tank or mech infantry moving two spaces during non combat which is NOT blitzing).  All movement stops at the friendly neutral you’re “converting” to control.

    You CAN blitz an enemy neutral, as long there are no infantry that can be activated.

  • Official Q&A

    @cts17:

    In response to the author, a neutral that is allied with yourself is considered friendly territory. Therefore there is no combat, so any movement into there would be a non-combat movement. From this I get the impression you can “blitz” it with a tank and keep going.

    “Friendly neutral” is not the same as “friendly”.  It’s still neutral, just in a “warm and fuzzy” way.  While movement into a friendly neutral territory is a noncombat movement, the units must still stop after entering it.  Or, to put it another way, “kcdzim is correct”.

  • can tanks bridge through friendly transports?

  • Official Q&A

    Yes, but they must load onto the transports on their turn, then wait for their next turn to unload, sitting on the transports for a full round of play.
