Can Airbases/Naval Bases/ICs be used the same turn they are repaired?

Very true. Not worth it, and has 0 long term value. Seems tempting, but not. Also not worth it, but is better, about G3 AB in yugo. I think you want the allies in the med compared to 110 or Norway as axis

You’re getting closer. Defining it in terms that you have will work for the purposes of this rule.

The UK ships, and all of their other units for that matter, are controlled by one unified UK. The terms Europe economy and Pacific economy are only relevant when it comes to purchasing and placing units and making repairs to facilities. After the purchase and repair phase of the UK’s turn, all of the units move and fight as one power. On the place units phase and collect income phase, then the “economies” are separated again.

I have, in general, purchased a naval base for Japan anyway, since it allows for a quick dash to India or down to Australia from that sea zone.  Yes, you can get to both from Malaya, but as pointed out, it’s not a one step jump from Japan to Malaya and back to Japan.

I also find that 8 transports is the magic number for Japan anyway.  It’s just so flexible.

This only applies to GLOBAL  in Europe you lose the -2 for France…  This is what spawned my original thought - as my last game I only scavenged 17 from France!

But… if France conquers North Italy, their income goes up with 4, no? That would make 21 IPC! Et voila!

Carrier planes are always defending in the air, no matter what type of units are attacking.

How was Russia able to advance that far? It shouldn’t be possible without direct America help. The moment that Russia moves beyond poland in Global you can call the game right there.

I dont think that I fully understand your question about Russia. They have only moved into Finland. The axis did surrender after six rounds however.
