So the way I see it… Japan could move the 2 destroyers during the combat phase as required, fight the American ships with different units, and than move the destroyers back into 25 during the non combat phase after the zone has been cleared. Â
Nope. Sea (and land) units that move in combat movement and/or participate in combat may not move in noncombat movement.
Tragically, there are not enough japanese roundels to do this (later in the game).
What’s even more tragic (or fortunate depending on how you look at it) is that I have 10 differe A&A’s so a lack of control markers for the big 5 is never an issue. A lack of ANZAC markers on the other hand…
There are three things that affect strategy. You and your opponents/teammates, the setup, and the dice.
Because there is no affect of dice G1 for instance, the only factors are you and the setup. This comes down to the fact that the setup offers some moves and you pick the best one.
No worries It’s in a bunch of other threads, but here’s the latest Alpha+1. Frankly though I like Alpha+ the best so far. I think it’s the most balanced. Haven’t tried +1 yet though.
