With no previous experience regarding TripleA, what will be the minimum specs running the program at a decent level? About to buy a PC mainly for Email use, various text programs, and possibly A&A!

The program appears to written in Java.  I can’t imagine you need anything special from a hardware stand point to run it.

In the “Map Options” you see the default setting for the victory conditions (see screenshot) for this map.
“Projection of Power” is marked.

By the coding of this map, this translates to:

    <property name="Projection of Power" value="true" editable="true"><boolean></boolean></property>     <property name="Honorable Surrender" value="false" editable="true"><boolean></boolean></property>     <property name="Total Victory" value="false" editable="true"><boolean></boolean></property>

So TripleA will prompt you once one Alliance gets 9 victory cities.

Note that you can continue the game as long as you want, regardless of the information given by the engine.

Sounds like you aren’t putting in the correct password for your A&A forums account.

If it’s working right, then you should be able to click “test post” prior to your turn and a test post will come up in the appropriate forum thread.

Doublecheck that you have play-by-forum turned on, that you have the right password and account name, and that you have the correct game id in the pbf section.

Cool…thanks for this answer.  Hopefully soon.  Since the rules are much simplier, the code shouldn’t be too hard right??? :-D

Right click, “save target as”, and then rename the file as “Temporal.properties”.  Next time you start up Triple A, viola!
