• I think 3 of my great grandparents were immigrants

  • all of mine (great grandpareents) were immigrants too except for the one descedened from the guy that came over on the ship with the mayflower

  • I came from Southern California. ^_^

    1% English

But some of my ancestors were here before the revolution. I also had family on both sides of the War of Nothern Agression(Civil War). So I’m sure that is not completely acurate.

  • i bet the germans and the irish ancestors of yours fought on the north side and the english /scandanavian sides of yours fought for the south, or am i wrong? i just generally know that germans usually sided with the north, as well as irish ( i’m pretty sure both of them didn’t like slavery)

  • My ancestors where from just about every region of Europe you can name (not counting some southern regions). On my mother’s side there are people from Germany, The Carpatian mountians (a region that was first part of Austria-Hungary, then Czekoslovakia, then the USSR, now parts are in Hungary, Ukraine, and Rumania), others from Russia (or maybe modern Belorus), and Scotland (originally migated from Ireland). On my fathers side I’ve got some French, English, and a small amount of Cherokee. My muddled heritage is more than most can handle, so I’m usually just refered to as Canadian.

  • canadian? since when is wyoming in canada :-? or did you immigrate to the US from Canada eariler in your life or something, or are you just making fun of canada? (thats always an acceptable excuse)

  • here in the US I’m refered to as Canadian, becuase it is rather distingtive (and many believe rather hilarious). I was born in Canada to American parents and hence have dual citizenship.

  • that is pretty funny; you were born in a country that you have no ethnic ties to whatsoever, and neither do your parents (its especially funny just beacuse its Canada). were your parents just there on vacation there or something?

  • well, do you really have ethnic ties to the US? And no, I lived in Canada for about half my life.

  • well, i am a tiny bit native american, (that doesn’t really count because they aren’t really american either) but i guess you’re right, i’m not really american. and i thought you meant your parents were on vacation in canada or something while your mom was pregnant ( i guess that was pretty stupid to assume; it would be hard to go on vacation when you’re 9 months pregnant) and then you were born there

  • 85% Polak and 15% Kraut 😉

    Dixie pride. 😎

  • I fyou’re a pollack why are you such a facist?

  • u can be Polish and a Fascist but u cannot be Polish and be a True Nazi. but i am not realley what u would call a Fascist. i am sorta like Socialist/Fascist. yes i know they hated each other and are very different. but i just took my favorite elements from the both and use that for my Idealogy.

  • Specifically, what elements.

And Socialists and Facists seem to get along well in France.

  • Militarism, One Party Rule, Command Economy, Health care and Education for all. and some other things which i think are important for a society to value.

  • On a political test you would probably score authoritarian (governement interference in economic and social matters)

  • well i did i got authotarian almost to the highest and as far as left and right were concerned i was between Adolf and Joseph

  • lol that particular test is so useless.

    so true.
if you even think about any of the questions for a moment, you may change your opinion as they are far too straight forward and leave little room for “i agree, however” or “i disagree, however”. I think my views might put me even further too the left or right, depending on who’s asking the questions (really - i may look much more “right-ish” than as would appear on these forums)

  • I like the test used by Libertarians, because it is so applicable to American Politics.

I exactly like that in the test:
you have to make up your mind! No howevers, no buts, no excuses 🙂
If you had a “don’t know” in the middle, everyone would have picked that. But like this you have to decide what is more importatn to you…. the “however” or the “agree/disagree”.

cute, but for most of the questions i just flipped the dice in my head. If i wrote it after a beer, i would have come out with more “positive” answers.

Yeah, if you want to see how data is manipulated by the givers to achieve the “desired” result… :-?
