Find a place you are planning to host it first.
Pick a date/time.
Find out how many people can come / willing to pay etc.
Find out what version people want to play.
Once you know how many games will be played, and how many people are attending, then you will know what to supply. Also, offer compensation for anyone who brings thier own game.

If it were teams, I could definitely see the possibility of my brother, uncle and I thinking hard about this…
I want to try it out even if there isn’t teams, but it would be easier to convince my uncle and brother if there were.
