• Hey all,

is there any online rulebook? Or will there be one?

    thank you

    Robert

But since we are here : can tactical bobmber scramble? We (me and friends) said no at first, now I believe we can
“Q. Can I scramble fighters or tactical bombers from Queensland or Western United States?
    A. No. They can only be scrambled from island territories with airbases. An island is a single territory completely surrounded by a single sea zone.”
However, only fighter can be used to escort and defend during strategic bombing.

Undefended transports that pass through a SZ that has a sub will get hit by the sub once (@2) correct? It doesn’t have to end its movement in the SZ where there is the sub.

If a nation is not at war against another one. Say Japan and UK. Can Japan ignore the UK fleet (which whom he is not at war) and pass through it to take some islands/territories? Or, to attack UK, you need to declave war? We think that the latter is correct. Or else, it could be very very ugly. Japan move everything in range of india. Ignore UK blockade and just drop everything in India, for example (not sure if its possible).

I’m sorry to ask these questions, as I’m sure they might have been answered already somewhere in the forum

There isn’t one yet, but there should be one eventually.

Yes, they can, but strategic bombers cannot.

    Correct.

You must declare war before you can move to attack, so you can’t move through the UK ships and then attack, unless you do it on two different turns.

  • One of the fellows in our war gaming group has scanned the Rule Book and converted/combined the graphic files into a PDF file.  During the conversion some resolution was lost but it is readable and the size is manageable at 5 MB.  I have put it on a server I have access to for anyone that wants a copy.  This should suffice until an ‘official’ on-line Rule Book is provided:
