Yeah I found Triple A. I had posted a comment in another area asking if players here like the A&A CD-Rom game VS Triple A. Are you familiar with the A&A game Hasbro made for WIN 95/98. Don’t seemed shocked about its age I had it when it first came out joined the army lost it got out of the army and found it at Best Buy late last year so its still around.
My preference is for the CD-Rom version. I like it better for navigating. Let me know what you think. sometime this summer when the roads are clear we’ll have to play FTF.
I know you all have heard this before and a re getting sick of hearing me. I’m posting this “ad” every now and again just to see if new members are out there, or old members in the service move here.
Wanted: any one physically capable of playing A&A classic, revised, Europe, Pacific, BOTB, Mini’s. Around here there are slim pickin’s
Looking for WNY (Buffalo/Batavia/Rochester) games/players.
If there is enough interest/commitment, I would be willing to host (i.e. pay $) for a 1-day/night group game at a local (i.e. central/cheap/Batavia) hotel conference room (neutral/public territory). I already scoped one out in Batavia (easy to find immediately off the Thruway and next to Bob Evans).
A&A, A&AM, Diplomacy, Supremacy, Risk, Fortress America (old/original), or anything similar.
I know that most of you live no where near Watertown, NY but I thought I would post this tid-bit.
The Sci-Tech Center of Northern New York located on Stone Street in Watertown, NY has decided to host a A&A worshop every other Saturday from 10:00am - noon.
It is designed for younger players 10 - 14ish but if you are in the neighborhood it is a fun way to impart some A&A wisdom. (I mean think about it other humans that think every word you say about A&A is scripture. I can’t even get my dog to do that.)
The next meeting will be December 27th, 2008.
If you have any interest, questions or just want an old-fashionded A&A butt woopin’ let me know.
