I agree for more than just the financial reasons.

A Pac Strategy is SOOO easy in this game to pull off, even a rookie can do it!  (With the Allies.)  Japan literally cannot be everywhere with it’s navy at once like it could in Classic and (to a lesser extent) revised.  Too many new sea zones let you hide your fleet around.  If Japan splits up to protect all avenues of approach (notice that they would have to move into range of your fleet to block you after starting out of range) then you can focus your firepower to destroy their smaller fleet(s).

Start with playing with both. If you never play with tech you won’t know what it does to the game and I don’t believe you have a right to give an opinion on tech.

However when you played a few games and don’t like it, then throw tech away. NO’s are must IMHO since the axis won’t stand a chance without them.  😉

Totally agreed. You can mod HB if it’s too powerful anyway

Triple A build 1.0.3.4 lobby should be working fine.  Was on last night, just connect anonymously.  I usually have to use Hamachi to get around router issues.

ALWAYS play your games on tripleA if you can, btw, its so much faster than PBEM.  Even if you have to start over (if it crashes), but I haven’t seen any crashes so far.

Now that was a depravity line of thinking. Imagine Eisenhower abort D-day 1944 because the odds was not good enough. We would all be speaking german now. If you want to win games, you need to strenghten your fighting spirit and breed more aggression. Peacekeepers dont win wars, you know that, now do you ? Butt enough talk.
