    5 planes for your 4 sucks, but the land battles went really well for Germany and I got the win in 106 which never happens for me!!

  • well the average german air loss for 110 is 3 planes, so 5 is just 2 over which is for 10 dice thrown. one of that was made up in 111 and winning the coin flip on 109 was also nice. missing all 5 times in yugo is just a 13% occurrence, not much more than the probability of 110 in my favor. so in all I went 5 hits under on land, or just about a push looking at all the combats combined. not sure how anyone can view it greatly skewed one way. heck the last time I was germany and had air scrambled on 110, I killed nada zero zilch and lost 2 subs and 3 air in basically the same battle - in a championship game no less  :lol:

    Yep, I would say all in all everything is pretty even. As you said it could be a whole lot worse for Germany, it could be better, but only slightly. Losing your allied planes should keep my Italian fleet alive for awhile, but losing that many German planes will hurt when it comes time to try to kill Russia (which will never happen, we are friends :)).

    At this point, I think we are both good enough players to adapt to any situation in the opening round and make due with what the dice give us (excluding a huge upset in Paris or something similar). I don’t really believe that randomness really plays a huge factor in this game - either you are good enough to deal with bad dice, or you’re not (again, I’m excluding the crazy ones when you lose 100% battles back to back, which you just have to laugh at and move on).
