What if instead of creating tank (or panzer) formations, Germany concentrated on building more trucks (and some half-tracks although not enough can probably built for the whole army) to fully motorise their army? How would their performance during the war have changed?
Where would the Germans have stopped?
-
The Germans came very close to defeating the Russians during WWII. Had they been able to win at Moscow, the Russians probably would have been unable to stop them in open combat. Stalin (if still alive) would have been forced to engage in guerilla warfare and east of wherever the Germans decided to stop.
Where do you think the Germans would have chosen to stop and why?

The A-A Line. Hitler did not want greater Asia or Asiatics in his empire. He made this clear in Mein Kampf
His goal was to control “greater Europe” and be a world colonial power from that position.

Hitler made many mentions of Europe only and the Urals were at least advocated as the end of Europe.
I think in Speer’s book he mentioned Hitler’s greater Germany having the Urals as one end.

The officially stated target for Barbarossa was the Astrakhan-Archangel line.
