Looking for partner or 2, preferably someone who has great experience with global already who is also going to gencon. I have a lot of experience with the 2nd edition of global (around 4-5 dozen games under my belt). I just don’t want to scramble for a partner at the last minute like last year.

AA in ATX Tournament! The Board Game Bash (www boardgamebash com / schedule) features 51 non-stop hours of gaming in Austin Texas, 8/17-8/19/18. It was good meeting you there this year. I hope to make it every year. Next year especially I will be bringing my game boards. Not sure if I’m going to host an event for Bal Mod 3 games or play in the 1942 game again.

Had a great time and even played some 1st edition AD&D, :)

Looks like Carl and Nephew went on to win the 42.2–they played the new entrants (i think?) Doug and Shawn, who went all the way from green recruits to the final!

And congrats to my friends on the Dixon/Butler/Seacrest team for taking G42. Plenty of upsets, Mr. Czach and Roby/Davidson took 2nds so that’s multiple favored teams getting upset and vicious seasoned competition in every rule set.

We have 25 confirmed and more room. Probably 5 Global 40 games, a 2nd edition 42, and maybe 1914. Some old games and hand painted miniature pieces and dice towers for sale no obligation. Snacks will be served, we also have a refrigerator and kitchen. We are in Whitestone queens minutes from Throgs neck or Whitestone Bridge.

Hi there,

I’m hosting a meetup group for Axis and Allies Global 1940 or Global 1942 at my Condo’s clubhouse on 22 October 2016. Please consider this option as the clubhouse works fine for gaming…plenty of eateries around.

Also, Louisville, KY is centrally located for a lot of the big cities nearby like Nashville or Indianapolis. Should be a great event!
