Playing the Axis is such a pain to me. At least it’s a rush to plow into Stalingrad and the Caucasus oil fields. I’d better enjoy it before it’s all taken away from me.
And those China rules are brutal. I guess they reduced the Yunnan NO and gave Japan an easy one with Iwo for 3, but still, garrisoning China from the east OR the west is really tough. I’m still going with the old strategy of rushing India, and clean up China later, obviously. But will I even be able to pull it off.

I realized after completing the move yesterday I made 2 mistakes there. One is assuming I would win a 98% and moving too many units in combat move to Stalingrad and Caucasus. Two is not leaving stronger defenses, because of long supply lines. Still trying to learn the Axis in G40 but I’m learning a lot, fast.
Wow, excitement at Stalingrad. I was lucky to get an AA hit and really, to not lose more than I did.

I moved the cruiser and marine to Z42 but didn’t click the marine onto Java like I intended.
His attack may matter because I only scored 1 hit with 2 infantry, 2 fighter and tac. The marine is supposed to be there so if you don’t mind, I’ll roll for him here.

What bothers me is that I’ve lost 3 transports in 19 that I didn’t see could be sunk. US bomber not so bad because I could get it right away, but the UK fighter was completely invisible to me. Probably instinct thought it was the Chinese fighter. Really hurts when you’re planning to use those transports the next turn.
You got the extra sub you badly needed for 99 and paid a price for it, but below average dice kills another one of my fleets. I almost missed 2 air from 80, so at least the extra 2 cruisers were there, but you still slaughtered it.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to point this out, but China can’t build units in Burma.

“However, Kwangtung and Burma are special cases. Although they are not Chinese territories, Chinese forces can move into them. But I don’t think I want you putting them anywhere else, so I hope you leave them there.
