    @malmessi74 Forgot to move the infantry in with the planes when attacking Szechwan, so made an edit so the outcome was as if I had moved them in (the 1 hit by the Chinese goes on an infantry rather than a fighter). Spent too much time figuring out what was best to do that turn, definately need to go to bed now :bed: :dizzy_face: :zzz: .

    Dunno why I simulated with 2 inf, usually I click CTRL+B on the battle and then manually add scrambling fig; how could I be able to miss 1 italian inf it’s a mistery…

    I hadn’t done the math on that attack so didn’t know what the numbers should have been, just seemed like it would be expensive for you defend. I felt bad for you with that result, losing 2 fighters and the territory. What I will say is that you are really hammering the Germans and Japanese in this and both are struggling to just hold the line, but you are letting the Italians create a large empire, are you (sub)consiously avoiding Italian casualties? :thinking_face: :flag-it:

    Yes, in a recent game with an italian friend I declared an unprovioked ar to JAP in Uk2 in order to join uk_pac to chinese army, it is a must…
    And in Global (with so many steps due to minor countries) even Russia can help a bit, I have seen russian fig/arm inYUNN many times…

    Yunnan is enough of a killer to the Japs, can’t leave them there ungaurded but can’t shift 50+ defending units either, also can keep on grabbing Szechwan for the bonus.

    I think an airfield in KWA during Jap1 purchase is an expansive but very good option, so CHI cannot take YUNN back in CHI1 and this is the beginning of the end for allies who planned to join armies in YUNN :blush:

    Yeah, I think you are right, Japan doesn’t have the infantry in place to keep hold of Yunnan but an airbase would with the potential to scramble would be tricky for China. I think CDS did this in my first ever game of PtV.
