By the way: I was having trouble seeing the game’s history. I usually look at the turns before I take mine, but I kept getting errors about “merging values Italians and Italians”. Does this happen to anybody else as well?

@ozymandiac got back from a tradeshow in Vegas and so I’ll do my turn today but now I feel compelled to ask a question that I feel you should not answer until the end of our game.
One of the more interesting themes I notice while playing this group (not sure if its one or all of you, I don’t really distinguish) is the willingness to take risks, sometimes rather large risks. I really like this because its an opportunity to really stress test the game engine but in that last battle, there was a 22% change of win albeit with a smallish -2 TUV swing BUT with at least two and probably three defending units remaining not including transports. Most folks I play wouldn’t take that. It worked out really well for the allies but that’s not relevant to this:
Did you take that because you felt you had to? Or otherwise, what was the thought process behind that move? I have about three educated guesses as to the answer.
I honestly think this question might be better left UNanswered until we conclude the game but I wanted to get this down now before I forgot my thoughts at this moment.
