    UK1 Factory in Egypt. This is an off league game, so I thought, why not? Never done it, they say never to do it. Now I say never do it.


  • @mainah ahahahahha. Yeah, I’ve always thought it was dangerous. I’m playing two games of bm3 right now both as axis. Both times captured the mnr IC in Egypt. But the other it also allowed for a sealion attempt. Not sure if it will be successful, but it’s fun!

    There is no coming back from here. Well done sir! I am willing to concede, if you’ll accept, or play it out for the honorable win. Choice is yours.
    I would selfishly like to offer/ask for a rematch either way, as I am learning a lot from your play.


  • @mainah I always accept concession as I’ve found once you believe it to be over, it is over. From past experience, I don’t think it is quite over, but it definitely swinging heavily toward the Axis. I always gauge the flow of a game at this point by income, and the Axis will surpass the Allies next round with a limited chance for the Allies to sway it the other way again quickly.

    A few key points: (1) Italy has become a beast. Egypt can hold indefinitely. Hard to break that. (2) Germany will most likely take out the US Atlantic/Africa fleet forcing a difficult path to get the US into Europe/africa again. Just too much time needed. (3) Japan is rolling along and will continue to be harried by the allies, but at this point probably difficult to contain without a heavy US involvement which needs to go toward Europe. (4) income stream.

    Happy to play again. Mind if I try the Allies this time?

I typically don’t do terribly well with the Axis so I’m trying out some new thoughts as well as you are with the Allies. Just let me know. Gotta say, really like this GM3 variant!
