I didn’t feel obliged to play really! I think that the game is over anyway, japan is in pretty bad position and germany has no hope of taking russia alone. So I surrender. Good game!

@quelvadar I gotta run to work but I was interested in how it felt to be the axis? what were one or two of the biggest take-away’s on being that side in your opinion? I’ll do the same when I get back.

I feel like the USA transport run up north in conjunction w/ the IC in Norway was crucial to keeping Russia propped up. It took a few turns but once it was up and running, I felt pretty confident with it.
The other thing was the IJN navy. Man. That had me scratching my head so many times. It was bigger than any one of my fleets. I was just going to leave it alone when I suddenly realized that you would probably be too weak to kill both if I could make you attack one and then counterattack what was left. But. the allied fleets would have to be adjacent for it to work or else you could put a destroyer out and keep me from counterattacking. So I guess I learned that allied fleets might work best if they are side by side if they cant be together.

Your Germany opener was different than anyone else I’ve played. It was very aggressive in comparison to my other TripleA games. I’m going to study that. It was fun to watch play out. Did you want another game or no?
