    I’m so glad that Germany finally secured Cauc. Not only do I avoid having to retake Cauc and Rostov every turn; but now my northern Russian ICs are safe from SBR, while your Mideast ICs will be vulnerable. One Allied bomber with lots of escorts, could reach multiple ICs, forcing me to tie up many fighters. Now a single German bomber with escorts, will soon be able to force you to take fighters away from defending the front line and defend 2 ICs, or risk SBR damage. I don’t think that you can afford to defend 2 ICs from SBR and the Cauc from Germany and E. Persia from Japan. But UK income has recovered and you can buy infantry instead of mech. So you can afford to repair. That’s why Japan will have to divert some of your resources.

    Occasionally, the extra cost of a tank instead of an art to invade a contested isle, pays off. Your use of bombers instead of fighters to retake the Aleutians paid off, since you you rolled lots of 4’s. More times than I would expect, Marti dice are extreme, as when the U.S. attacked German sub off Normandy with a DD and 7 fighters and rolled 0-8, while my sub with a defense of only 1, rolled 1-1 on round 1.
