Editing in the sinking of an unprotected transport to me is like a “walk-in” (blitzing or capturing a unoccupied enemy territory). Perhaps I have just had really good opponent, but I have long assumed such edits were okay without permission. Perhaps I am wrong though.
Since this is our first game, I didn’t want to assume. I agree and consider this a friendly game.

Germany needs railroads. Which could be bombed and need AA and fighters.
I don’t know what to do strategically about the U.S./ANZ retreat to Hawaii. My 2 fleets could have overpowered you off of Aust. But a single DD blocker would have stopped it, at least for a turn. I could have combined my fleets, but you could have out-distanced yourself with the naval base. My homefleet was 3 ships and a transport. Certainly no threat to Hawaii. I suppose that since DEI were heavily guarded, there was no sense in you making unsustainable invasions.
There are drawbacks for Japan to concentrate most of the fleets in home waters or Carolines. Perhaps after this game or after the set of games, you might share your state secrets.
