    @FMErwinRommel yes was playing around with variations on where to place the transports…loading everything into sz 6 was simultaneously the likeliest to be attacked and the best defended!

    I almost forgot the FIC bombers as well…looked at the odds…didn’t like them even with the seaborne troops…then realised my bombers could reach and it changed the whole outcome.

    Hadn’t thought about the USAF attacking scotland…back to the drawing board with the germans again. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

    I read a posting in the forum a while back, about the 2-stage Sea Lion, going to Scotland and then reloading. So ever since, while playing the Allies, I always build artillery in London, so combined with planes, I have offensive power to retake Scotland with the least number of ground troops. Having enough U.S. planes to weaken or destroy them first, is best. 7 new bombers are waiting their turn to smash you. Your bombers prevent me from getting my fleet closer to the German fleet.

    I haven’t been reinforcing Cauc and lost planes, so Germany has enough power to win there. Attacking anywhere will just weaken my defense. All I can hope for is great dice. If you wait a turn to attack, I probably couldn’t send more reinforcements than you could.

    @FMErwinRommel With the japanese starting to move at the rear of yr caucasus stack, it is in dangr of being left out of position as well

    Uneven dice again…like your last round, where I had units to spare you didnt hit, in the battles in kenya and sakha your one unit hit preventing me from taking kenya and killing a plane in sakha and the iraqi AA hit! Oh well.

    Interesting, I couldn’t hit the Italian bomber with AA, but I got the Japanese bomber. If the U.S. attack on sz6 had succeeded, you couldn’t have retaken Siberia, and I would have landed another transport. Not earth shattering, but it would have been a fun invasion.

    @FMErwinRommel Thought I had blocked a landing but missed the marine on the battleship. Well played. Forces me to concentrate in home waters again whilst anzacs keep sneaking islands off me. Picking up enough income elsewhere to offset it a bit. You have pulled back to north africa I see. and British are starting to run out of money to play with the big boys.

    Actually, UK had more money than production capacity in the Mideast. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have built subs in the Atlantic. With all the unit icons in the Carolines and sea zone, it was easy to overlook the marine.
