Killed 6 Japanese infantry for the cost of 1 UK artillery. The U.S. fleet move to the Celebes was just an act of having to do something, after the disappointment that my big sea victory against the home fleet didn’t break open the Pacific because of the lack of transports and troops. I should not have made so many piece meal transport attacks in the past, that were easily killed off.
Last round, Italy only suffered 5 convoy losses from 9 dice. Odds should have been 9 points lost, which combined with the strat bombing this turn, would have seriously constrained Italy’s builds this turn.
