    Successful U.S. attacks on IJN helped by favorable dice. Destroyed its home fleet, scrambled fighters, 3 of 4 blocking DDs and 3 transports. Plus destroyed the Euro-Axis DDs and fighters off of Italy. +128 TUV vs Japan & +38 TUV vs Euro-Axis. Axis can counterattack, but my exposure is mostly limited to the damaged BB. Uk sank another DD, leaving only 1 DD in the entire IJN. ANZ will sink another transport. But Japan has lots of income and I.C.'s to rebuild. Without enough transports and troops, I really couldn’t do critical damage, like capture Japan; just some breathing room. ANZ could take out a Chinese I.C., but you could rebuild or not need to.

    @wizmark certainly was a good round for allies…my german airforce managed to miss all 3 rolls which was a pain…and the loss of the home fleet will hurt for a round or 2 but I have the income to cope at the moment. Without boots on the ground for allies it will be a grind for a while!

    @FMErwinRommel you forced me into a defensive position as the japanese this turn… needed to rebuild anti sub capacity and to garrison japan against an imminent landing.
    2nd front in cape town opened…cost you 9 ipcs in dead garrison…5 ipcs in lost territory and N.O’s and another 12 ipcs in mechs coming down…will be interesting to see your response!

    Will try to take my turn late this evening. The IJN amphib fleet in Indian ocean can reach many places since its at a naval base. In my game with Owentoo, I’m the Japanese and have a fleet off India that threatens the entire mideast. But may have to withdraw it to defend against the large U.S./ANZ fleet in Caroline that can reach the Asian mainland.
