    Yes, you have a destroyer therefore I don’t have a surprise attack. I only have a “normal” attack and you get a normal defense+fighters since the destroyer is there. If I had hit, the only thing the sub can hit is the destroyer, but I didn’t and your defense power of 6 made the sub an auto casualty.

    @surfer Oh good, because thats what I was thinking. But then after the fact, I wasnt so sure. Does a DD only negate a subs ability to dive or, I guess its both, its submergability and its ability to do a surprise attack. Thanks

    DD negate both.
    RE Die rolls. Let me count the ways
    G2: Both subs around Britain hit so that neither of my ships do not get a chance to kill a sub. Odds 1/9
    R3: 2 for 2 German single infantry hit back. One of those allowed Germans to keep country. Odds 1/9
    G4: Air battle misses – you did too, but I had slightly better odds. Odds 1 /3
    Sub hits again so that the Russian cruiser can’t return fire. Odds 1/3
    R4: Germans hit both times (and I miss) so they could to prevent me from entering Archangel. Odds hard to predict but involved me missing on a 2 and you hitting on a 2, so at least 1/9
    Sub misses against bad odds, but after all the bad dice, I wanted 1 to go my way. Odds 2/3 (as said bad attack but sub would die anyway.)

    Cumulative Odds = 1/9 1/9 * 1/31/3 *1/9 * 2/3 = ~ 1 / 10,000
    Just sour grapes…you are killing me.

    Ok. before I roll for the Brits, there is a roll that will determine the battle of britain. I have a chance for a 4 to 2 kill. I roll 3 or less and you roll more than a 2. You have already hit twice this round with a 2, so you are due to miss. But quite frankly you havent yet, so I’m pretty concerned.

    Ok. first round, 3 to 2…but I made a mistake, I meant to kill my artillery + guy rather than 2 guys. It affects my attack rating for the next round. I need to strafe you, not win.

    If its ok with you, I would like to continue the battle but kill the artillery. To do that, I’ll have to replay the move, but edit out the 3 German inf and British (1 art+inf), then continue the battle. No other battles have been conducted yet, so it should be ok.

    I have another request. I forget that this is LL, and thus I have an option with the british to slow down the italians. I’d prefer to reposition my NCM for American atlantic units. I’d do this before any attacks were resolved.

    Sorry for my delay. Yes, should be ok. Hay, family is going on vacation Saturday till June 16. So will be out for a little. There will be some downtime so I might get in a turn or so but not sure.
