    Hmmm so you would not scramble with only two fighers? Intetesting!

    That’s not what I mean. The problem with bringing two fighters is that they die relatively easily to a Luftwaffe blitz G2 because they can’t leave SZ97, but if I’m going to scramble then they do a lot of damage before that can possibly happen. The scramble is less attractive with the extra force you’ve brought but just not enough to get me to avoid it. I just hate losing Luftwaffe to British fleet there. And the convoy disruption, loss of Med objective (if that is in play, which it might not be). If I scramble I should only lose 1 Luftwaffe.
