    It’s nice to see Italy do well for a change. BM3 helps, without Brit getting a big opening bid, and instead, Italy getting a small bid. Brit gets some new N.O.s, as do the Axis, but smaller values. Italy N.O.s still 5 points. I’m half Italian descent. Wow, Italy has 4 tt’s and still has its planes. The tank in Egypt needs boots on the ground for help besides planes. Brit is moving 5 troops and 3 planes from Mideast and 5 troops and a ftr from Africa. And the allies have arrived in N. Africa to put the squeeze on Italy. But amphib landings from S. Africa keep losing their tt’s.

    The Chinese army moved to Yunnan because, even with its size, the Jpn air could destroy it in Szech. So I was pleased to move the Indian army and will move the ANZ ftrs in. But then I realized that the Chi ftr had no safe place to land, so I had to hold back some troops to defend it.

    Stalin said not to retreat, so we stand and fight, again. You and the rest of the gang seem to attack at low (40% or less odds) and yet always win. I’m gambling that this time the odds will agree with the bat calc and you will lose or retreat, or not gamble and wait for reinforcements. I was hoping to take out both Ger inf in Baltic, for the cost of my single inf.

    I overlooked the Ger sub being able to sink the allied tt’s off of Gib. Bummer, I thought they were safe and don’t have replacements built. Now have to wait again to take Brazil.

Once DD was sunk, the bomber couldn’t hit the sub. You split IJN into 3 fleets, yet they can all converge on Queensland. And combined, could sink the U.S. fleet if it moved there. Or you could go for India, and U.S. can’t reach there. Altho Jpn would miss out on money isles. Jpn is building just a few dd’s & subs each turn, yet still has a powerful fleet.

    I’m surprised. Looks like Italy is abandoning Egypt and a move on Mideast and will replace it with Gib for the same N.O. and hold onto N. Afr. Build-up of allied planes near Egypt is a threat to Ita tt’s and Brit has gathered lots of ground troops. But Ger would prefer that Ita continue to divert Persian builds to Egypt, not Cau.
