It always bothers me not to garrison Gibraltar T1, but I didn’t want to lose another tt and I couldn’t spare ftrs on turn 1 to offset potential bombardment. Italy cleared the Med of allied ships, but allies were lucky to score hits in each battle, reducing Italian navy. I’ve never seen Italy take Bulg. And Italy’s opening is certainly aggressive against Rus.
Italy should have sent some units towards Rus in the first game. Italy has positioned its navy for some possibly interesting moves, which is why the french had to sink the unguarded tt. Brit Africa appears secure, allowing it to also pursue some interesting paths. -
Axis: Brit ftr in Burma didn’t move during NCM. Do you mind editing it on Ger turn to move from Burma to India? No combat occurred in the area since UKP’s turn.

Commendable. His Majesty King George VI thanks you. I knew Ger could easily retake Nor and would bomb Fin, but Brit had to make the effort regarding Nor.

This is precisely why Russian still HAS finland R2; and better yet, there is no Finnish army.
We also had one chance at two to shoot down a bomber - straight goods, and 2 chances at 2 to rebuff the Norway landing and/or kill another fighter.
The end result was 0/3, but had the dice been otherwise, that would have been some PAIN for Germany. The Russian sub also got to have a gambit that could have saved the british transport - because the Axis was spread so thin. Germany even built a destroyer to maintain some hope of control of the north!

I used to like to play low luck. But despite all the frustrations of wild dice results messing up the best laid plans, it is so much more fun and exciting to let the dice roll where they may. It also makes the direction of the game more varied. The dice cost the Italians 3 ships on I1, but helped Germany on B1 and G2.
