@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.
Solider facing

Just curious (as the rules are pretty vauge) what everyone’s thoughts are on soldier facing? I find it strange that these units have both a front and back rating and yet seem to reface without cost. Let me know, thanks people.
-
Well, I don’t see any strangeness to it. A unit can change it’s facing for free, yes, but it still can only change facing when it can move. So its facing is important for units that actually flank it (ie: move after it) as well as for when a unti is disrupted and can’t move.

soldiers can’t be flanked, which is why they all have the same front/rear defense.
I don’t have my rule book with me, but it clearly states soldiers can’t be flanked.
-
I’m under the assumption that he’s talking about vehicles, since they’re the only ones that have differing rear and front values.

I understand flanking and all, but what about shooting? Can a unit fire at targets that are not in its front facing?
-
Yes, unless the card says it can’t, such as vehicles that have no turret.
