@Colonel-Mustard Yeah,7 out of 8 times you would’ve been able to retreat as planned. Some famous military guy once said"No plan survives contact with the enemy"If USA and UK were going hard after normandy and denmark, that should give Italy a chance to grow strong and help stop the western allies.
#1 rule Always protect your capitol.
Blitzing through Urkaine?

Hi.
We are playing TripleA
Europe 1940 Second Edition Credits: Veqryn, Bung
Version 3.0We now have a situation that Italy cleared out Ukraine and Germany wants to blitz through it, but is apparently stopped at the Factory. and cannot go further to Rostov or Bryansk.
Is that a program bug? Or is it intentional according to the rules? If if is, I never knew about that.
I have attached the savegame for that situation.

It’s not a program bug. If Italy would have taken Ukraine then Germany could blitz through…but since Ukraine is still under Russian control the factory is preventing any blitzes.

If Italy had taken Ukraine, the German move wouldn’t be a blitz, as the territory would be friendly.
