@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.
FOXHOLES FOY

Last week I visited some remaining foxholes in Foy of the 506th AB near Bastogne. It was really a big distance between the treeline and the village as you see the episode of Band of Brothers where the soldiers cross the open field.
After that I visited the museum near Poteau wear the 14th Cavalry Group run into an ambush and where some famous pictures were made.(check the internet)
Really interesting and inspiring for making new diorama’s for playing A&A as I’m making my own diorama’s andn repainting the models in original colorsschems (after '43).
This spring I visited already La Gleize and Bastogne where I met 2 veterans of the 506th.
