@Panther Yes it seems the word “simultaneously” is the key word in the rule book, you wouldn’t be able to send tanks through the newly captured territory since all combat happens at the same time. Thanks for the reply the warm welcome and quick responses everyone.
The Bunker

Well now that my 1st 3 kids have flown the coop, the basement is all MINE! :-D My son & I have turned it into our gaming room we call “The Bunker”. After a little fixing up & shopping at Hayworth Office Furnitures Outlet Store, Perimeter Military Surplus and Home Depot, we have a big enough table set up in the Bunker. Battles rage on most nights as we usually play 1 round a night learning what AAG40 is all about. Far and above the most fun A&A game. Most time consuming, but must fun!
Here’s some pics of the bunker.

Impressive…

Very nice indeed. Now you need dice tower(s) and custom dice!
I love the ammo box storage for your peices too

Liking the beerstein collection. The bins for all the plastic pieces is a bit too much for me, lol.
My goal in life is to have a WWII themed paintball field set up in the backyard. Gonna be a while before that happens.

Very nice indeed. Hope to have a room like that one day as well.

Thats 31 years of Budwiesr Holiday Stiens I’ve been collecting since 1980.
The miltary storage case we found at a military surplus store. I’m told it’s from the Vietnam war era and was used for small aircraft repair parts at air bases. It was my sons idea to use it as you see in the pics. I was sceptical at 1st, but it actually works out well. Keeps the table clutter free and no knocking boxes or pieces off the table while I “elbow” around. We spent a day or two cutting & gluing the game symbols (I copied the color chart in the back of the instruction book) on the idex inserts in each drawer.
When you get that paintball field up & running, let me know! My brothers, sons & nephews (13 of us) will come running! Been playing that for years! Lots of adrenilin filled fun!

Heh, yeah, I hope I can make something that actually mimics WWII battles than the crap I see at usual paintball fields. Would be hella fun to have uniforms, replica weapons, and actual old surplus tanks running around. Gonna be at least 5 more years before I’m done with school though… and god only knows how much time after that before actually going that far down the rabbit hole.
At least you guys will have a cool place to play Axis and Allies when the bombs finally start dropping:
“Hey kids! Guess what? China and Russia just declared war on the United States! You guys want to play a last game of Axis and Allies before we go?”

Yes, it is where my father (MadDog77) and I spend most our time. The A&A Original used to be my favorite, but I think AAG40 tops them ALL.

Nice setup!
