Correct. It is only lone transports. Any warship, and that includes carriers, can invoke the rule to ignoring the lone sub on defense.

Actually a lone sub only prevents unloading of a lone transport. A lone transport may still load troops in a zone occupied only by enemy sub(s) and can move through them too.

Well for starters I’ve totally negated this rule so thanks for confirming with me that this was true

While I’m not the biggest fan of a rule like this, I can understand how it stops player like Germany and the Soviet Union from abusing the fact that they could just move their tanks forward into combat, than move them out of combat to keep them safe.

It sounds like you only have the fighters engaging in combat. My understanding is that all air units (incl. the bombers get to roll):

The attacking bombers and fighter escorts and the defending fighter interceptors will be the only units participating in this special combat. The combat lasts for only one round. All of the air units have attack and defense values of 1

Afraid not. However, if  you capture a Major Factory with more than 6 damage , it becomes (is downgraded  to) a Minor with just 6 damage.

ah cool, so i wasn’t supposed to lose germany then… i had 4 guys on it and usa nutcrackered norway/denmark uk landed 4 guys … i had a bunch of aa guns…

god dam it. he rolled 2 hits i rolled 1… i coulda lost 2 aa guns and still had 2 more. mmm oh well. me and my group forgets the rules too much lol.

That’s true, bases are great!
Of course they work so fine because of the big sized map, Spring 42 with bases would be ridiculous :)

The rules specifically state on page 34 that UK NO IPCs go to the Europe economy, and there is no provision in the rules for any IPCs to be transferred between the two economies under any circumstances.

Yes.  Scrambling occurs before SBRs.
