Sweden Rules

Norway should be at least 3 IPC. Like someone said in another forum, capturing and keeping Norway should be a German NO. Since they did have a lot of iron ore that the Germans wanted.

what is your source on the scandinavian IPC values? are you in contact with playtesters? i thought the game desgin was already done?

I can see the pros and cons to that situation. However I think if you make Norway a German NO, players playing as Germany wont be so careless and actually defend Norway. What would also be helpful, is if you could scramble to a seazone without the territory being an island. this would add that historical accuracy because the Germans also had many airbases in Norway and with a new scramble rule it would make the British player think twice before invading.

That came from Sweden. It was only shipped through Narvik. The iron from Sweden was of strategic importance for Germany. Keeping Norway should definately be a german NO. If its not, then it will probably become a popular house rule.

I understand that in AAE 40 that Sweden will have an IPC value of 4 contingent on a convoy zone and Norway will be reduced to 1 IPC.

Norway is a worthless country, should be worth 0.

I was able to bribe one of the playtesters for info in return for some porn that was posted on the KSG thread. Now tha tit is gone I can’t get any more info.
