@Colonel-Mustard Yeah,7 out of 8 times you would’ve been able to retreat as planned.Some famous military guy once said"No plan survives contact with the enemy"If USA and UK were going hard after normandy and denmark,that should give Italy a chance to grow strong and help stop the western allies.

I was wondering if Weseruebung will take place and if Axis Player is able to purchase IC’s in Norway and France as well to indicate the submarinebunkers they had built…
To me it was a missing part to be able to purchase subs in AAE on France and Norway coasts…thoughts?!..

The game starts (IIRC) just before case yellow thus Weserübung is (almost) over.
I do not believe the subs were built in Fance and Norwa. The Deschimag (and other) yards built them in Germany.
Sub pens - might be a nice idea, but i think it would be just another mechanic to remember - keep it S&S

I beleive the addition of naval bases should represent this nicely.
Subs can be built in Germany however when moving out of a seazone with a naval base (Like those adjacent to France or Norway) they get one extra move-space. This will alow subs to be stationned off the coast of Europe, be defended (especially with the combat air-patroll rule) but still have added attack capabilites.
