Unless I’m mistaken, don’t AA-guns in 1940 only fire at a max of 3 enemy planes?
The number of AA shots is either 3x the number of AA,or the number of planes, whichever is the lesser. Right Krieg?

“It is my understanding that my publisher (Wizards of the Coast) will allow me to present a AAP50 map a Gen Con, this week. If so I’ll ask them if I can present the map here sometime after the convention.” - Larry Harris
Very nice

AAP50 presented? So it is quite ready to be released! Interesting…
Here is a picture of the board Mr. Harris had at the convention.

If I remember right it is 35x35, so when plugged in with the Europe addition coming out next year, it will be 70x35! :-D
Larry was getting opinions on whether cruisers should have aa guns, which brought many opinions of course…
Remember i invented that idea.

Remember i invented that idea.
you want more applauds ?
no. but what i don’t want is “hey frog great idea you invented”
I recall inventing the 6 IPC tank not too long ago, along with the 1-2-2-4 “Motorized Infantry” (Trucks for when I get my new FMG pieces. :-D Half-Tracks will be IL’s 2-2-2 Mech inf, only at 5 IPCs). Larry has it called “Mechanized Infantry” with Half-Tracks…merely a corrupt mingling of two great ideas…sulking.
What tanks cost 6 now? I got used to it being 3/3/5 from 3/2/5 and now it cost 6? Is it still 3/3?

Yes
Cost was raised to encourage players to buy more diverse land forces.
Personally I found that the best way to encourage player to buy mixed land forces is to create a new unit thats 2-2-2-4 and can carry either an infantry or artillery but can’t blitz. I called this unit a “Mechanized Division”. All other units were kept at the same price. With this configuration land purchases became more interesting and almost always included 3-4 land unit types for germany (and also for russia and japan).
I was playing with a piece like that in 1986.
Siam is completely surrounded…
language! Anyway just look at the map. there is one japanese territory worth one IPC completely surrounded. I think its siam. its hard to read it.
Yep, it’s definitely Siam and it is surrounded but it has a sea zone for an escape.
