More 1940 Germans units available to combat the French horde

i thought it had a bigger gun than a is-3 so 15 for the kv-2 and 18 for is-1/3?  this is right correct or did the is-2/3 hav a bigger gun than the kv-2

Overwatch is not an official rule, its optional.  Be careful not to confuse the “Expanded Rules” (optional) with the new Revised rules update (which is really only 3 or 4 rules adjustements).

While attacking a disrupted unit w/Vet Tiger, all dice would count, “one’s” get reroled and you have another approx 85% success of hitting.  All total it’s over 90% success ratio.  Almost always a hit and Vet Tiger throws alot of dice.

Replace Vet Tiger with 3X elite pnzr and it’s another killer army.  You can add 11 pnts more of infantry… another 3X mauser + another Fortress Defendr

This is the kind of thing that would make me want to try eBay.

I agree, when I saw his build I thought I might be ok as long as I didn’t get the Urban map.  and then that crazy first shot he made!  Usualy several shots bounce off the E8 before it’s dammaged.  I was only able to take two Pzr IVs with me. :-(

Now it’s down to a couple M1 Garands and a sniper…

I heard that as well.  It seemed that at tourney’s  people were stacking their armies with all hero’s so a general house rule of one hero. I do not think it’s mentioned in the rules at all.  Some tactics can be employed as far as 4/4’s go.  I too have no problem mixing units.

example:                4/4 Bar gunners  support 5/5 Ranger’s I sure people can come up with more but that just springs to mind.

You have to be carefule I was used like a tool when I sent KAR 98’s against Screaming Eagle’s (First game) It was a blood bath. The trick is to play to the utits strengths and use supporting units.  I’m a big fan of snipers and MG42’s

I completely agree that lack of transport units creates some real logistical and realism problems with the game.  I’ve been considering creating 2 1/2 ton trucks for the Americans & Opel Blitz trucks for the Germans.  They would just be regular “soft” vehicle units.  Similar in movement to a jeep, but would be a little more expensive and could carry 2 infantry units.  They would also be able to tow field guns using other rules I’ve created for that (www.aaminis3d.com)
