Yeah I also think that way. There is nothing more annoying than having to hunt down those pesky subs, while Russia is in the greatest trouble. I’ve had games where the U-boats were gone as quick as turn 2 but Moscow still got sacked. However no U-boats left after G1 is new for me, this might allow the Allies to jump into the action before it’s too late…

@AndrewAAGamer I’m saying that if the setup the player chooses has one their. And btw their should at least be one guy in Indo China. To prove this, there were about 50,000 troops in Algeria this equals one French Infantry according to the setup. While Indo China had 75,000 troops. And their is no Vichy rule as well. So there should be a guy there.

And can Britain use the Casablanca , Oran and Algiers Convoys from T1 ? I assume not.

Correct, you cannot. That is why they are translucent.

Are Britain’s choices just: Atlantic Convoy Box, SZ3 for ships , Gibraltar and the Malta Convoy (with its reduced capacity) until America lands in N Africa, captures those 3 Ports and opens them for the Allies?

One or two units can make a big difference in the odds in a small battle. I was hesitant to redirect 3 cav away from Paris to Galicia. But I still attacked with 130 units; and battle calc said I would still average 35 winning units left, instead of 40. But F gave 37 hits on first round, instead of expected 25. So, after 6 rounds of dice, with just a handful of units left on each side, your Italian cav and my 3 missing cav, made the difference between fighting to the end or retreating just short of victory.
