Reserves has just been released and we're already starting to get previews of Axis & Allies Naval Miniatures: War at Sea. Today, Avalon Hill published the first preview of this game providing a download of the quickstart rules. So far, the battle system looks good and it look like they improved on the rules for the stadanrd A&A Miniautes game.
The much awaited Axis & Allies Miniatures Reserves will be released this Friday, November 10, 2006. This set promises to be interesting by including more units from the minor countries and adding a new country, Hungary. Reserves includes interesting units such as the Fallschirmjager German paratrooper, F4U Corsair, and support units like the ammo dump and the fuel depot.
Two new previews of Axis & Allies Miniatures: Reserves are up on the Avalon Hill site today. The units being previewed are: BA-10M (Soviet) and SU-152 (Soviet). These are some interesting pieces to say the least.
Today, over at Avalon Hill we get the second glimpse at Axis & Allies Miniatures Reserves. The new unit is US Rangers. It looks just as powerful if not more so than the SS Panzergrenadiers.

The Russians are very interesting as a faction. They almost have at least one of everything; heavy medium and light tanks, artillery, cavalry, an assortment of infantry, and two commanders with great command abilities. About the only noticeable units they don’t have are AA and Machine-Gun teams.
The American army provides us with a wide variety of generally aggresively costed units; the M4A1 and Mustang are prime examples. Their army list provides a lot of units with interesting combat abilities;covering fire pinpointer, veteran crew, flamethrower, hard charger, etc. In fact with the Americans they often have so much that it’s hard to decide what to work with.
