Avalon Hill released a preview of two new units from the upcoming Axis & Allies Miniatures: 1929 - 1944 set. If you didn't already know, this set will contain some pieces from previous sets, new pieces using previous models, and new stats for existing pieces.

Avalon Hill has made an important change to the Axis & Allies Miniatures game. The SS-Panzergrenadier and the U.S. Ranger will now cost 7. This change will be effective on June 1, 2007. This should help balance the game and allow for more of the other infantry units to be used in the game. Several weeks ago Avalon Hill made the exciting announcement of the Axis & Allies Campaign Game and the first installment is now ready. The idea behind the campaign game is to get players from all over the world to participate in a massive Axis & Allies miniatures game.

Today Wizards of the Coast and Avalon Hill announced all of the upcoming Axis & Allies Miniatures releases for 2007. The released will include the new Expert rules and two new expansion sets. The new expansions will have fewer units per box and will cost $9.99.

A few days ago Avalon Hill released the latest of the Expert Rules for Axis and Allies Miniatures. These rules add on to the Expert rules previously posted to the Avalon Hill site. The new update includes platoons, single nationality armies, new maps, new stacking limits, and 200 to 400 point battles. March 27, 2007 - 01:38 Axis & Allies Naval Miniatures War at Sea Released

If you are an avid Axis & Allies Miniatures player than you already know the great news that the Axis & Allies Naval Miniatures game was released to Stores on March 16, 2007. Since then Avalon Hill has published two articles: Tactica Aquatica to help with your War at Sea tactics and War at Sea: Guadacanal Campaign Pt. 1 the first scenario for the new game. After purchasing a starter and several boosters I had the oportunity to play a couple of games. It is truly a great game with many levels of strategy and planning involved.

Since the last update here at Axis and Allies .org, Avalon Hill has been busy posting previews for the upcoming War at Sea Naval Miniatures game. With preview 3 we get a look at a couple of fighter units: the Japanese A6M2 "Zeke" and the U.S. F4F Wildcat. In the preview 4 we details on the the Japanese aircraft carrier the Shokaku. |
