We have that many distinct members?  Here I thought out numbers were just massively inflated by people with retired accounts or multiple accounts.

Actually there was a brief time when a guest going from one page to another was showing as another guest user logged in.  That is when we peaked out, due to each page view by a guest over a span of 15 minutes showing as a distinct user.

Well, the "Users online" tracking shows the last 15 minutes of activity, so I am assuming that it was over a span of 15 minutes.

I was online during that couple of days when each guest page view counted as a unique hit (it was annoying to see who was online during that), so i am making an educated guess about the cause.
