Here it is usually $8 in the League with a number of $5 - $7 bids.

Call it a $7.5 average bid, approximately.

Honestly NPB, the "how" is easy.  You take the bid money, go over to Japan, take his hand, stick the money in his hand, say, "use wisely my son," turn around, and go back to Germany.  Easy.

And I am serious about giving it to JPN, even though I have a German Av.

By the way, I believe that at the TripleA Ladder site they use a STANDARD bid of 9 for the Axis - I guess they flip coins for who plays axis? Wonder what their Axis win ratio is...

Anywho I don't like to be Axis with 7.

I like the bid to go to Germany because they have more pressing needs.

I've used the SZ 14 TRN, it was nice because it enabled me to bring more units to Africa, thus not losing any of the benefit of the Libya bid, plus the ability to evacuate Africa when it becomes a losing battle, and the ability to attack Ukr / Cauc more quickly is nice too. Keeps the fleet alive longer too. If you add the purchase of an AC your fleet can live long enough for Japanese reinforcements to arrive, meaning that you control the Med. even longer.

Haven't used it in a while, but after having tried some others (mostly the Libya bid) I think I'm ready to try it again.
