    I don’t know how many of you have the Stalingrad map that Historic Battlefronts put out, but it is well worth the money.  I am puting together a senario that is designed for that map, but as long as you can create a semi realistic map for stalingrad this could work for you as well:

    Operation Blau - The assault on Stalingrad

    Builds  - All build to be 1942 or earlier unless specified.

    Soviet Forces:
    300 pt Build
    Max 90 pts armor.
    50 Units Max.

    Optional artillery:
    #1
    ZiS-2 57mm Model 1941:
    Use 1943 ZiS-2 57mm Miniature with AT stat reduced to 9/8/6
    #2
    UK 40mm Bofors L60
    Use as is

    Up to 6 Higins boats modified as follows:
    Option #1
    Soviet Troop ship:
    Speed 1 Defense 2/2 Point value 6
    AI: 8 6 –
    AV: 2 - -
    Unit carries up to 4 Soldiers must land at Dock hex.
    Numbers and types of troops on board are hidden.

    Option #2
    Russian Trawler
    Speed 1 Defense 2/2 Point value 3
    No offensive capability
    Unit carries up to 2 soldiers must land at dock hex.
    Troops on board may defend at –1 on die rolls.

    German Forces:
    500 pt build
    50 Units Max
    German army may include Italian, Romanian and Hungarian troops.

    Optional Unit:
    JU87B Stuka Dive Bomber
    Use the JU87G with the following attack stats:
    AI: 8 7 -
    AV: 7 6 -

    Set up:

    Soviet Deployment
    Soviet forces set up first.
    Up to 50 pts may be set up in forest hexes.  Half of which must be Artillery.
    Minimum 100 points must be held in reserve and brought into the battle on transport boats during movement phase.
    The remainder of forces must deploy on the city hexes bordering the Volga River, or on the three hexes comprising “Mamayev Kurgan”

    German Deployment:
    German forces enter the map on their first movement phase from the west edge (the side opposite the Volga River).

    Special rules:

    1. Germans have initiative on the first turn.
    2. Bluff hexes block line of sight to units not adjacent to the hex side containing the unit.  Units adjacent to  the hex side receive a cover roll against units firing across the bluff hex side.
    3. Mamayev Kurgan is the large hill near the city.  Units on this hill have a +1 attack die and ignore one hex for line of sight.  All other hill rules apply.
    4. Snipers and machine gunners in city hexes ignore one hex for line of sight.
    5. PanzerGrenadiers have the Urban Combat SA - +1 to cover rolls in city hexes.
    6. PTRD 41 and Mosin Nagant soldiers have Hand to Hand 9 against soldiers in their hex.
    7. Every turn the Tractor factory is occupied by Soviet forces 1 T 70 is produced.
    8. All vehicles moving into a city hex that does not contain a road must make a movement roll.

    Objectives:

    1. tractor factory
    2. Mamayev Kurgan
    3. Train station
    4. Steel factory

    Victory Conditions:
    The first time after turn 8 one of the following conditions is met the game is over and a victor is declared.
    Germans:
    Major Victory- Eliminate soviet forces from city of Stalingrad.
    Marginal Victory- Take all objectives and at least two dock hexes.
    Soviets:
    Major Victory - Maintain control of Tractor Factory and at least two dock hexes.
    Marginal Victory hold at least two objective and two dock hexes.

    It’s a realy basic map of Stalingrad, but it way beter than the maps that come with the minis.
