A Battlemap and New Windows

Apaprently, the new Windows and ABattlemap do NOT like each other.

Based on a VERy rough translation of a discussion at DAAK (my German SUCKS).  But it appears that the new Windows may screw up as much old software as XP did...

Are they still developing ABattleMap at DAAK? This would be a perfect time for those guys to implement the Axis & Allies XML!

Does Vista have way to run programs in "Windows 95 mode?"

Vista is trouble. They are overhauling the OS even further so they can sell computers to people who don't know how to use them and making it a bigger pain in the a** for those of us who do.

Yeah, I see no reason to upgrade from XP. I used Linux exclusively for about 6 months this year but went back because there were just too many things I couldn't do as easily, or software that I just liked the Windows version better for.

If Microsoft starts forcing me to upgrade to Vista though by denying security updates etc., I think I'll go back to Linux.

I have vista.

Alot of games run with little to no "fixing".
