Just wanted to mention another place to play online, which probably won’t be going AA50 anytime soon (so if you want a place to play Revised for a while, it’d fit the bill): the IAAPA, which can be found at axisandallies.net
This is one of the oldest A&A clubs around, and these folks are so old school that most of the gaming there is still 2nd edition! That’s right, Revised is cutting edge at the IAAPA. However, don’t be too quick to dismiss them, they have some very good players including some very good Revised players. I’ve played in a number of their Revised tournaments (they have three per year) and have never made it to the finals.
Which A&A is this CD-Rom

If anyone has this CD-ROM, can you tell me if it’s the Revised edition?
It also says that it offers Solo play. If you’ve played the CPU, how is the game play?

1. its classic
2. AI is horrid

It’s better than nothing, but not much better. I was actually looking for a revised edition mod when I found this forum. I wish someone with some skillz would do that. It probably wouldn’t take much. Fixing the AI would probably be a little tougher though.
Is it true that the easiest AI is actually the smartest? I need to switch that if it’s so.

Goggle for TripleA, it has a very weak AI, but better then Hasbros… (doesn´t say much of course…)

TripleA’s AI is almost static for the first 3 rounds. Go with insane German purchases for the first two rounds and you’ll own Moscow because it doesn’t know to stack Moscow with infantry.
