In using the little white book, and using the specialties for each nation from the original blue book, we have mixed and matched some things to try and make the game as historically accurate as possible.  The heavy tanks and infantry make the reduces soviet effectivness essential to use but for some reason they hold on until massive armies from germany and/or japan blast into moscow.  I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or useful tips for the perfect game with custom rules.  I've been playing for about 2 1/2 years and consider the group i play with to be well versed in all the rules, due to our arguments about them.  Just looking for some info.
