There are only 2 and they both played out the exact same (in my opinion).

Right on, JetFan, that sounds pretty good.  With some important exceptions (the AC buid, Japanese in the Med, focus on Kazakh), that strategy was played out to victory by Octopus in a recent game here, you might be interested to read it.
Thanks, How do I do that?

I didn't see where the stratagies were that similar, but I didn't read it all either. I'd rather look at the final map. His G1 purchase looks alot like the first rd. buy of a person I regularly play against. I just can't resist the AC build on G1. It gives germanys navy so much back bone and flexibility early on. I do have the exact same J1 purchase as Octopus. I still think the Axis at are a very slight disadvantage if the allied player builds smart, and can move well logisticlly. Also I noticed the Allied player blamed a large reason for his loss on bad rolls in the game I looked at

The AC buy makes alot of sense. I might just join the dark side. I've never been able to pull the trigger on German Navy.

My thought has always been that the early heavy ground unit purchase for Germany results in an advantage on the front with Russia by turn 3, but the AC provides enough problems for the allies to make the 16 IPCs worth of equipment not as necessary as it seems.

As always, back to the drawing board.

People who think buying all ground results in an advantage on the Eastern front don't realize that you actually have to spend perhaps more to defend Western Europe earlier on from an unleashed UK transport system.

what does that mean? are you for it or against it? I see more pros than cons. Lets hear an argumant against the purchase of an AC on G1. I don't have one
