yes G but if Russia attacks ukraine also ion its first turn and afcorse west russia

than its one fighter less and in that situation who knows

so personally maybe its little ridiculous but when i play the russian i play on ofense and ofense only

if i fail i can make a moscow in one large bunker

but if the russia gets support form all other allies germany will be surounded on all sides

you just need to cut germany s lines to otther territories and  do one thing which is eminent destroy all german sea units on the board

i am trying to say that if you are gonna play with allies just to attack germany and  not ignore japan entirely but just keeping him from invading russia

you need to mobilize all you have
so if you start destroying german sea units on one side, attacking him with russia on the other ,and loading up troops in western europe with anglo-americans than germany will be under severe pressure,so it is gonna be really diffiicult for her to hold on

I've conducted a suicide attack before knowing that I could not win, but also knowing I could severly damage an air fleet (most recently against TM).

that's what I did in my current game against my friend(amateur)....he was stupid enough to have 3-4 fighters and only 1-2infantry(forgot exactly how many) on Norway after G1....so as UK I landed 2inf, 2tnk, plus 1BB shot, plus
a bomber....it came down to my bomber vs. his fighter.....i decided to go for it, thinking that his fighter is more valuable than my bomber....and i succeeded in killing the fighter, but my bomber was killed as well.....all in all i destroyed the majority of his fighters at the end of round 2......as of now, it is
Rus3 and he has one fighter and one bomber and NO navy....

After playing a couple games this weekend, I find that I can't spare the ftr on the first round.  I may do some more testing this week, but I think I will probably use this idea rarely.

That's similar to what I had opposing me in WEU. There were 2 inf and 6 fighters, a major impediment to Allied naval units. Therefore, I sacrificed 4 inf, 1 rtl, 1 arm, 1 bmb to kill the inf and 3 planes. The nice thing was, I weakened the airforce enough that he's no longer opposing my Atlantic shipping, now the game gets interesting. The Eastern theater is a nightmare for me, but he'll have to counter my UK capture of Nor and WEU or he'll have to let me build up a significant Allied force, really soon (11 inf, 3 arm). I've got my two-front war, now hopefully I can hold out long enough that Russia doesn't fall.

I have to say I've never thought of the russian fighter to Egypt because of the belief that these fighters make or break a russian defense. But what I have found is that if Russia purchases a fighter in the first round it makes the german game difficult with the right attacks on the first turn.  One russian fighter in Egypt could change the Germans minds on Africa especially if the americans come.

This holds Germany back about 4 turns. Only then can they break the stalemate.
Buy 3 inf, art, 2 arm
Bel- 3 inf 2 ftr
Ukr- 3 inf, art,  3 arm
Wru- everything else in reach.
All should be taken over.
Place 3 inf and art on Cau, while the 2 arm  in Mos
move all infantry from east to west, leaving a 4 man plug on Sin and Yak
The Germans will have no cannon fodder to strike back, and if they do, 5-9 inf, 2 art and 3 arm will definately push them back in Ukr.
If they decide to go for Africa hard now, the russians will be in a favorable position for about 4 turns (this is usually enough for the British and Americans to overwhelm Africa and the seas). KGF

There is only a few ways to counter a KGF, and it should be done in the first turn for Germany. I like to buy a AC on med and land a fighter on it. This way the british airforce cant threaten my Africa chain the next turn. I also build a destroyer on the Baltic fleet. This helps them survive (I use them + planes to hit the allied vessels). This leaves Russia run around free in the east having 30+ icps everyturn, but the ipc's lost in the east can be quickly regained in africa. Japanese planes help alot too.
