    First thing to do is to create a game thread (“Start New Topic”)in the Play Boardgame section of the forum.

    Normally you would title it with some more information such as “BvD (Allies+bid) vs. P@nther (Axis) G40.2, no tech”.
    as you can see from other game threads here. In the “League” section you would indicate that it is a counting League game.
    But I leave it short for now.


  • Creating a game thread first is important because you get the Game-ID from this thread. This ID has to entered in TripleA later.

    • Hit the “Start PBEM (Play by email/forum) Game”
    • Select the dice server
    • Enter your registered email-address
    • Enter your opponents’s registered email-address as CC
    • Enter the Game ID (here 39563)
    • In the Play-by-Forum selection field select “AxisAndAllies.org
    • Enter the Topic ID (here 39563)
    • Enter your forum Login Name
    • Enter your forum Login Password
    • Mark the two checkboxes below
    • Hit “Play”

    I have attached a savegame so you can see what I have entered so far.
    Just download this savegame and load it into TripleA.
    You can’t of course see my forum data, but you have to include your own.

  • Next step is that I will start with Germany.
    After the combat move and at the end of the turn the game will offer you to post the turn.
    In this thread you will see a turn summary then and an attached savegame, that is created automatically when posting.

    You simply download the savegame load it into TripleA and continue….

    I will figure out G1 later, as real life now kicks in ;-)

  • For OOL, just use common sense. If the dice turn up normal just the normal OOL (first hit battleship, destroyer, cruiser, fighter, second hit battleship for sea zone 111 and first hit battleship, French cruiser, UK cruiser, French fighter, 2x UK fighter, second hit battleship for sea zone 110). If extreme dice occur ask me if you are in doubt.

    I presumed the summary and save game was posted automatically. So I went to quickly to Japan’s turn. But since Russia had no combat first turn I presume it doesn’t matter. I will be more careful with the other allies.

  • Strange, there should have been a warning such as “are you sure you don’t want to post?” in case you proceed without posting.
    Have you noticed this warning?


  • Also there is a workaround for cases like this:

    When in move history gi back to Russia’s “Turn Complete”, right klick there and klick “Save Game at this point”.
    This creates a manual savegame, that you can attach manually to the post here.

    But you are right, in this case it is fine as it is…

    Not yet at home, so don’t expect my move too soon.  :-)
