With 9 extra PU per turn from the start and Jap having to garrison China, Rus can give Ger a tough time, since Jap won’t be racing thru China. The lucrative Dutch isles will distract. If Jap gets anywhere near what you got per turn as Jap, I might be able to distract Uk and Rus somewhat from Europe. Weather was 70 degrees today, so I was outside. I might get a laptop someday, so I can play while away from home.

Yeah should be a fun match. I figure if rus helps some in china, US can either gain upper hand vs jap navy or match and spend more in europe. I have a laptop and its quite convenient.

I assume you mean only in vanilla(G40 2E). Idk how much of a different beast BM2 is or not.

Usually only Brit receives bid units, so the other powers resources are the.same in G40 and BMW. Not a physical advantage, but knowledge of strategy.

Wow, just ready to take Japan move and saw that Rus air deep into China. I looked at some G40 games for Japan opening move ideas, but didn’t pay attention to Rus moves. In Europe, Rus can’t DOW so early.

Thanks, I appreciate your telling me. I will redo my moves to only attack FIC and not DOW on UK. My original intent was just to take FIC. But since I would lose the peace N.O. anyway, I decided DOW on UK to take Hong Kong. Rule says DOW on Fra doesn’t affect U.S. Do you agree that taking FIC won’t put Jap at war with UK or USA? Dutch territories are obvious targets, but taking them means auto DOW on UK, which means auto DOW on U.S. This forces WWII in Pac to occur much earlier than historical.
