    Here we go, let’s start creating the thread.

    Gamers Stalin knows how much my Hitler hates the Russians so he panicky called Churchill crying for help.
    He somehow persuaded him (or a great gesture born from pity) so for ONE lousy IPC Churchill plans to distract the Germans with 4 subs:

    Subs in 98, 91, 110 and 111 plus UK starting with 29 IPC is the bid.

    The Japanese headquarter is delighted to hear that though. The Expansion plans have recently been accelerated and Tokyo has revived their “Sushi for Hawaii, Sidney and San Francisco” program :D

    There is a slight delay as Hitler is unwell since a while so the world war obviously has to wait until he is ready.

    Gamerman01, I wish the both of us a great and a fair game! Maybe one of us will even make it into the finals^^

    When it comes to “luck” I rather prefer not to be a hipocrite and save any empty phrases about that.

    So, Hitler is back on track. He poised the french water in order to make the AA-gunners dizzy.

    MARTI owns me a lot in terms of AA fire. In the recent games my opponents were blessed with 30% hit ratio. This I guess this time you have to end up with 0-5%.

    Would you like to scramble in 110 and does your sub want to fight or dive?

    Oh, and in terms of talking strategy: I first planned to make the coinflip at 91, however in that case I would have needed too much air at 110, without subs scrambling becomes very attractive for UK, don’t want to put too many German planes at stake.

    So I rather wanted to overstretch the French AA and think East!


  • I’m not sure, but this might be the first time I’ve had this placement.  Looking at G1 now, it does seem pretty nasty.  I will in fact submerge the submarine immediately and will not scramble anything.  Happy hunting

    Phew, I got a little bit nervous after Hunnan but Yunnan went well, so just micro compensation for the Allies dice-wise, half an inf or so.

    Wasn’t feeling good Sunday night or yesterday.  Felt good Monday, worked all day.  Might slip it in during work today - depends on how things are going

    Lets hvae a guess then :)

    Yugo was 1 2/3 hits expected  = +1,66 inf

    In France you allowed me to dodge your AA:D so I made a calculations where I replaced the 5 planes by 5 tanks –> Average losses were 6.5 units, make it rather 6.15 if I had counted all the 4s which were just 3s in my calculations

    –> So I am up about 3 Inf up on the ground + dodged 14% TT survival in 106 and go you on the lower end with 10 defense in 110.

    So yes, I owe you a little bit more than half an inf;)

    Hope you don’t take it personal if the Axis payment moral is poor during this game:D

    And as I’ve always said, you can’t just compare the results to average.  The fact that you avoided bad dice is huge.  But I am not complaining.  Just responding to your half an infantry comment  :-D

    yep, agree: Avoiding bad dice is a big value, so even a low luck result is usually never average but always good for the Axis.
